so sorry friend :(( it's just disgusting to me how people will claim to be so progressive and then act as reactionary and puritanical as the fundamentalist christians they're publicly horrified by. like take a look at yourself!!! it's fucking crazy. i haven't experienced it nearly as bad as you, so forgive the comparison, but as someone who's been on the receiving end of similar accusations for what i choose to host on my site(s), it's just... it's so deeply uncomfortable.

people get so entitled and as soon as they feel as if you're perpetuating any harm, no matter the truth, it suddenly justifies every single bit of disturbing behavior and vitriol they're about to hurl at you. they'll never realize the harm they're doing, and if they do... they won't care. because to them, it's justified, because you're [bigoted/predator/etc]. it is infinitely frustrating and upsetting and i ache every time i get one of these hurled my way so i can only imagine what you go through.
